If, when you enter a game of Diablo II you find that your items
are lost, or that your corpse is not appearing in town, then
please contact tech.support@blizzard.com with the following
information:

–The time your character last possessed the items.
–The events occuring in your game the last time your character
had these items (where you fighting monsters when you crashed?
Did you exit the game normally…).
–The time you noticed your items missing.
–Which items you are missing (did you lose just one item? Did
you lose all your items…?).
–If the items were recently gained by your character.
–Any other information you feel would be helpful.

Please use the subject “Lost Items/No Corpse” in your
email to support@blizzard.com. We apologize for the loss of
items some players are experiencing, and although we are unable
to restore to Diablo II character items they have lost, we are
looking closely at these reports of lost items in our efforts to
prevent future losses.
