Amn colonizes Maztica and it grows into a prosperous empire. Amn conquers Calimshan, and through intermarriage, unifies with Tethyr. They eventually annex or conquer all the lands to the Vilhon Reach, where their expansion is halted by the Mulhorandi empire. Maztica declares independence from Amn and fights a bitter war of succession.

In the North, the Silver Marches holds out against all opposing forces and grows into a much larger confederacy which eventually includes Waterdeep, Mirabar, Nesme and the Western Heartlands. Even a tired and broken Luskan joins after being outcompeted economically following centuries of isolation.

The Shades are annihilated in a limited thauma-nuclear exchange with the Zhents, leaving the Shades extinct and the Zhents decimated. International treaties are signed banning the use and/or testing of epic magic.

Thay actually is won over by its own success at competing in the free market and becomes an economic powerhouse and a bastion of free capitalism. Thay eventually unites with Aglarond, Impiltur, Thesk, and Sembia and other lands of the Northern coast of the Sea of Fallen Stars, and looks east claiming the vast resources of the Hordelands and beyond to fuel an economic and industrial powerhouse. Slavery is abolished. Collective bargaining leads to an enlightened workers paradise, and strict environmental laws ensure that Thay escapes the ecological catastrophes that befall their southern neigbors.

Lathander begins his new Dawn Crusade, which goes horribly awry. Lathander is killed and replaced by Amun-Horus-Re as the new sun god. Many current deities are replaced as the Faerunian and Mulhorandi pantheons merge together. Sune and Isis combine into a single goddess goddess of love. Jergal reabsorbs Bane and then slays Kelemvor in an evil double-cross, reclaiming the throne of the dead. But then Osiris in turn slays Jergal and emerges as the new god of the dead. But as commerce and industry evolve, Waukeen and Gond become the most powerful gods, the two wed and become the king and queen of the pantheon (or CEO and CFO as they prefer to be called.)

Chult is deforested in the name of progress and becomes a charred wasteland as it's trees are burned in boilers and furnaces to emerge as smoke from the myriad factories blanketing the countryside. Black clouds obscure the sky and rain acid rain down on the scarred land.

Thayans build a canal near Innarlith that allows ships to pass between the Inner and Outer seas. Amn and Mulhorand fight a bitter war over control of the Canal.

The elves of Cormanthor take out the Zhentarim and then take control of the Moonsea. Cormyr is reabsorbed into the Empire of the Elves and friendly relations blossom between the elflands and the Thayan federation.

Ubtao is long dead from lack of worship when Dendar emerges from the firepeaks and swallows the sun. The world is plunged into darkness and Shar reigns triumphant.
