The Personality

Blair has a magnetic personality; just ask anyone who has met him. He's a hit with the guys because he's rowdy, funny and enjoys a drink…or three. And the girls love him because he's a ‘spunk’, he's sensitive, he listens and he is very much the gentleman.

Blair's maturity far exceeds his 20 years. Having travelled most of the world and twice lived overseas he has acquired an understanding and appreciation for other cultures. Blair's travels have given him a greater respect for life, for people and for the earth. He has gained a worldly perspective that you can only get by broadening horizons.

Another important contributor to Blair's maturity is the fact that his 3 older brothers, Ryan - 22, Gavin - 25 and Wade - 28, have always treated him as an equal. Blair has always been exposed to more mature surroundings and been treated with the maturity that his older brothers afford friends their own age.

School

Bl air grew up in Plenty, a North-Eastern suburb of Melbourne, where he lived in the same street as Racing-car driver Craig Lowndes and also a Melbourne Cup Winner.

At the age of 6, Blair moved with his family to Singapore, where he enrolled at the Tanglin Junior School until returning to Melbourne in1990. Back in Melbourne, Blair attended Yarrambat Primary School and Macleod High School until returning to Singapore with his parents for a further two years. During this time Blair attended the United World College of South East Asia. Blair and his parents returned to Melbourne again in 1997, where he went on to complete his Secondary schooling at Eltham College. In 2000 Blair began a Human Biology degree at RMIT and, in 2001, he has deferred his studies to concentrate on a possible career in the entertainment industry.

Sport

A talented sportsman, Blair displays exceptional and sometimes uncanny skill in most sports he picks up. Blair's flair for sport comes not from an over competitive nature but from excellent co-ordination, speed and passion for being good at anything he does. Blair began playing Australian Rules Football at age six with his next oldest brother Ryan at Yarrambat in Melbourne's North East. At the unusually young age of 14 he was picked up by the VFL club The Northern Nights and quickly blossomed into a footballer with a very strong likelihood of being selected to play at the highest level, in the AFL.

It was at this point Blair along with is parents moved back to Singapore and for a period of 2 years . During this time he took up Rugby Union and as before even as a beginner Blair displayed exceptional skill for his age. He went on to play for his school, United World College of South East Asia even representing Australia and the Singapore Cricket Club in various Tournaments.

On his return and even though he had not played Aussie Rules for two years, Blair's coach likened his skill level and freakish qualities to a young Tim Watson (Essendon legend). AFL talent scouts took notice of the young high flying forward and he was eventually called up to play reserve games for Collingwood and Essendon. Blair however narrowly missed out on being added to Kevin Sheedy's Essendon list.

He currently enjoys playing for the Heidelberg Football Club coached by former Carlton great David Rhys Jones, in the Diamond Valley league. He is one of the youngest players in the senior team and certainly a popular character around the club.

Blair's other sporting interest is Golf. More like a hobby, Blair loves whacking the ball around whether it be over eighteen holes or from the driving range around the corner from his home, and as usual he is particularly talented in this sport. Blair's favorite pastime is bouncing his golf ball up and down and through his legs using a sand wedge as in the Popular Tiger Woods TV commercial.

The Future

Who knows what the future holds for Blair and where his popularity from appearing on Big Brother will take him. He has however expressed a serious interest in persuing a career in the entertainment industry. Blair's most unpublicised skill is his great flair as an actor. Who knows he could be our next Russell Crowe or Guy Pearce.
