2001 CIRCUS MAGAZINE READERS' POLL WINNERS:

1. VOCALIST OF THE YEAR: A neck and neck race if there ever was one. KoRn's Jonathan Davis took third place, barely beaten out for second place by System of a Down's Serj Tankian, who was barely beaten out for first place by your winner, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, your elected golden throat of the year.

2. BAND OF THE YEAR: Not quite as Neck and neck as vocalist of the year. The third place winner wound up being a tie between KoRn and System of a Down. Linkin Park shot ahead in the last moments to take second place, and your band of the year is wearing the same coveralls as your singer of the year because Circus Magazine reader's have crowned Slipknot the band of 2001.

3. TOUR OF THE YEAR: Again, this was a neck and neck battle, third place was taken by the Big Day Off tour, just slightly beaten out for second place by it's big brother the Ozzfest 2001. Your first place winner for Circus Magazine's reader's poll Tour of the year is Slipknot and System of a Down's Pledge Of Allegiance Tour
