Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection on PLAYSTATION 3!?

Word out of Japan is a popular gaming magazine Famitsu has indicated the next game from the Tekken franchise will be none other than Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection on the PS3!? Early reports note that it will be based off the arcade version of the game.

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is said to be a downloadable game and the release date and pricing is yet to be determined. The news snippet also mentioned that the game will feature high definition graphics and a playable Jinpachi.

Modes confirmed are Arcade Mode, Ghost Battle, and Gallery Mode.

Tekken 5:DR HD Screens

Hot on the heels of the announcement regarding DR on the PlayStation 3, Game Watch has a bunch of HD screens of the upcoming PlayStation Store game!

The game is expected to be a straight port of the arcade (only requiring about 800 MB of hard drive space) but in 1920 x 1080 true HD resolution. The screen shot with the insert shows this dramatic visual improvement. At this small of a file size it would be impossible to include all the ending CG in SD let alone HD.

Þetta er frekar slappt hjá þeim að setja ekki leikinn á PS2 fyrst þetta er “update” á Tekken 5, mjög mikil vonbrigði… Sérstaklega þar sem þeir voru búnir að laga Steve og gera leikinn jafnari.
