Miyamoto has confirmed that after Wind Waker 2, there will be no more Zelda games on any console.
The following is a direct quote from Miyamoto:
“I believe the Zelda franchise is getting stale and we're running out of ideas on how to revitalize the series. We are going to try to make Wind Waker 2 the best Zelda game ever.”
It's sad to see the Zelda franchise die and all of us will have fond memories of the series.
In other news, Capcom has decided to break the contract between themselves and Nintendo for Resident Evil 4 and they said that Resident Evil 4 is being ported to the PS2 and Xbox as we speak.
