Liverpool Football Club has received yet another accolade after Anfield was named the best stadium in the Premiership.

In an independent poll conducted by The Sir Norman Chester Centre for Football Research, based at Leicester University, the views of 26,000 English Premiership supporters were canvassed.

Anfield came out on top due to ‘its history, atmosphere and facilities’. Old Trafford was named worst stadium in the country for visiting supporters, closely followed by Elland Road and Stamford Bridge.
