A priest is looking for a bell ringer, and lots of men come to try out for the job but are not good enough. The next day a man with no hands comes in, so the priest says, “How are you going to ring the bells?” The man says he can ring it with his head and proceeds to demonstrate. The priest is so impressed he hires him on the spot.

A few weeks later, however, the man loses concentration and falls down into the bell tower and dies. The monks gather around the body, but since the man kept to himself, they aren't sure who he is. Finally, one monk pipes up: “Y'know, I'm not sure what his name is, but his face sure rings a bell.”
