Ok! explanation time!

Timothy Hunter is from Neil Gaiman's Books of Magic series (which came out way before Harry Potter, kids). And the two have strangely similar, yet coincedental traits. Both are British, black-haired, bespectacled, very powerful young magicians. And they both have owls! Tim's is Yo-Yo *he was made from Tim's yo-yo* and Harry's is Hedwig *duh*.

for the reacord, if they got into a fight, Tim would wipe the floor with Harry *cough* but this is a friendly picture so they're just comparing owls ;)
