Q: I saw somewhere that if u beat the game a certain number of times u can unlock Sephiroth char….I dunno much about this and I couldn;t find anywhere info about it …
I would like to know how many times u have to beat the game for unlocking him and if u need to start the game all over or can simply beat it again from the last save point u made.

A: You need to fill a memory card with competed FFVIII games in each slot, starting from the beginning. You'll have to wipe any and all save data from other games off them first. Then and only then will you get Sephiroth as a playable character. He'll appear in Ultimecia's castle, playing One Winged Angel on the pipe organ. Just talk to him and he'll join.
