<b>Two words: epic warfare.</b>

In Black & White 2, time has passed since the events of the first game….and the land of Eden is no longer so peaceful and idyllic. On the contrary, the entire land is embroiled in bitter tribal warfare. Enter, you - all-powerful cosmic being supreme. The people of your lands have grown violent and indolent in your absence, yet you still have absolute power over their lives. What is your reaction?

The real beauty of the game is that it's your decision. You can do nothing, and allow the violence to continue unabated. You can prevent the wars, or provide aid. You can encourage your people, ignite their tribal hatred, or pacify them - you name it. It's up to you. And, of course, what you choose to do will reflect your godly alignment - and have a lasting impact on every part of the environment.

Will Eden turn into a gore-soaked, charred battlefied? Will rivers run red with the blood of your foes, and your own tribesmen, sacrificed on the altar of your unquenchable thirst for domination? Or will you create a peaceful land of sprawling, prosperous cities, and only sally forth to defend the idyllic metropolis you have created? The decision is yours.

Naturally, you as a God are still represented by your only mortal progeny - the massive Creature you raised in the first game. It is possible that you will be able to import parts of your Creature's mind from Black & White, as well as raise an entirely new beast to do your bidding. These creatures will once again serve as your most potent agent in the world, taking an active role in all your decisions - not least of which will be war. If you chose to return in force to Eden as a vindictive, bloodthirsty warlord, your creature will become your army's rallying point and hero. If you decide to protect your people from the horrors of the slaughter and secure their families behind strong walls, your creature will become their mighty protector and strongest defender, turning back the tides of the enemy hordes at your very gates.

Another thing that's exciting about Black & White 2 is the prospect of improved tribesperson AI - which could lead to less micromanagement, for you. The game's focus will be primarily on the warlike attitudes of the tribespeople, and their actions have expanded to reflect that. They have, in a word, evolved. There is also a new resource which will allow for the creation of the weapons of war.
