Í tilefni þess að kona nokkur fékk mömmu sína til að ganga með tvíbura fyrir sig hér um daginn, þ.e. frjóvguðu eggi skellt í miðaldra kelluna fyrir unga fólkið, þá orti maður nokkur að nafni Peter Pindar þessa vísu og skellti í ensku pressuna:

Grandma?

There´s no one quite like Grandma,
Except the Mum we had,
Who, though we call her sister,
Is married to our dad.
There´s no one quite like Grandma,
Who´s legally our Mum,
As Grandad is our father –
It puzzles us both some.

Grandma we love you,
Sister and brother;
When we grow up
Shall we wed each other?

Boy; “My mother is my sister
But so is my twin Sis.
Hs anytheing since Oedipus
Been more complex than this?”
Girl; “My brother – in – law´s daddy,
The father of my brother;
My legal father´s legally
The father of my mother.”

Grandma we love you;
How would it do,
Grandad and Grandma,
If we married you?
