Could this be the release date finally confirmed? According to Phil O'Neil, President, North America, VUGames, a date for retail has now been set.

“World of Warcraft will launch a week after the company's other hot holiday title, ‘Half-Life 2’, which debuts Nov. 16th”.
This means that according to the Detroit Free Press where this date was announced, World of Warcraft will hit retailers on November 22nd. Thanks to KillTylerDurden for the news.
